To dad

Its been 25 years now dad but only seems like yesterday. I wish I could turn the clock back and appreciate you more.

I dont think I ever told you 'I love you'.

Well time can't be turned back, but I am sure you understand how I feel.

Mom will not come onto this site because it would upset her. Kind people leave tributes/candles for you Margaret and Graham, bless them. Mom sends her love to them and says a big thank you.

WE SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY
AND KNOW GOD MUST HAVE HEARD,
WE FELT THE ANSWER IN OUR HEART'S,
ALTHOUGH HE SPOKE NO WORD.

WE DIDN'T ASK FOR WEALTH OR FAME,
WE KNEW YOU WOULDN'T MIND,
WE ASKED HIM TO SEND TREASURES
OF A FAR MORE LASTING KIND.

WE ASKED THAT HE WOULD BE NEAR YOU
AT THE START OF EACH NEW DAY,
TO GRANT YOU HEALTH AND BLESSINGS
AND FRIENDS TO SHARE YOUR WAY.

WE ASKED FOR HAPPINESS FOR YOU
IN ALL THINGS GREAT AND SMALL,
BUT IT WAS FOR HIS LOVING CARE,
WE PRAYED FOR MOST OF ALL
